- Japan - Manufacturing PMI came at 50.4, lower than prior 51.6 and expected at 52.1.
- China - HSBC manufacturing PMI fell to 49.2 compared to prior 50.7. CB leading economic index improved to 1.5 compared to prior 0.9.

- France - Markit PMI to be released at 8:00 GMT. Vital to see if growth dynamics changing in France.
- Germany - Markit PMI to be released at 8:30 GMT. Robust data would help German stocks to move higher.
- Euro zone - Eurozone PMI details to be released at 9:00 GMT.
- Italy - Wage inflation statistics to be published at 9:00 GMT.
- UK - Lot many data to be released at 9:30 GMT. Consumer and producer price index along with retail price index. Vital for pound. Weaker data might push pound further downwards.
- US - Lot many data to be released today. Most important are Consumer price index to be released at 12:30 GMT, Markit manufacturing PMI at 13:45 GMT, New home sales due at 14:00 GMT. Low key data are Redbook index scheduled at 12:55 GMT and House price index at 13:00 GMT.
- New Zealand - Trade balance statistics to be released at 21:45 GMT.
- Auctions - 1 month and 2 year bills to be auctioned by US around 15:30 GMT and 17:00 GMT respectively.
