Today data and event risks are low across board. Focus is on housing conditions in US.
Data released so far -
- New Zealand - Westpac consumer survey came at 117.4 better than previous 114.8.
Upcoming -
- Greece - Current account balance to be released at 10:00 GMT. Vital to see if weaker Euro is having an effect on the number. Positive data would be price supportive of Greek stocks.
- Germany - Bundesbank will release monthly report at 11:00 GMT.
- UK - CBI industrial trend survey would be published at 11:00 GMT.
- US - Lot many data to be released today. However market impact over these would be less volatile. Chicago Fed national activity index to be released at 12:30 GMT. Existing home sales statistics at 14:00 GMT. FED's William will speak at 14:00 GMT. Dollar reaction need to be watched closely over these data after last week's dovish data dependent FOMC.
- Euro zone - Consumer confidence to be released at 15:00 GMT.
- Australia - CB leading indicator will be released at 23:00 GMT.
- Auctions - 3 month and 6 month bills to be auctioned by US around 15:30 GMT.
