- China - House price index fell by -5.7% in February. This is the sixth consecutive decline.
Upcoming -
- Euro zone - ECB will hold its non-monetary policy meeting. Discussion would focus on banking system and Greece ELA. Any decision on that front would be highly influential. Construction output and trade balance to be released at 10:00 GMT.
- Italy - Trade balance to be released at 9:00 GMT.
- UK - BOE would release its minutes at 9:30 GMT. Heavily influential for pound. Upside may remain capped ahead of FOMC. ILO unemployment data will be published along the minutes. Budgetary details will be available at 13:30 GMT.
- Switzerland - Zew survey expectation is to be released at 10:00 GMT. Previous reading was deep in negative at -75.
- US - Focus is on event of the month, FOMC policy decisions. MBA mortgage application to be released at 11:00 GMT. FOMC will announce policy decisions along with economic and interest rates projection 18:00 GMT. FED chair Janet Yellen will hold press conference at 18:30 GMT. This will influence all markets.
- New Zealand - GDP data for fourth quarter will be released at 21:45 GMT. Kiwi's reaction would be noteworthy after FOMC over this data.
- Auctions - Germany to hold 10 year bund auction. Previous yield was 0.37%
