- Australia - National Australia Bank's business confidence dropped to 2 in October from 5 in September. Home loans rose by 2% in September, whereas investment lending for homes dropped by -8.5%.
- China - Consumer price index dropped -0.3% in October, still up 1.3% compared to a year ago. Producer price index down -5.9% in October from a year ago.
- Japan - Eco watchers survey outlook for October came at 49.1 same as prior, whereas for current it grew to 48.2 from 47.5 prior.
- Switzerland - Unemployment rate remained flat at 3.4% in October.
- France - Industrial output for September rose by 0.1% in September.
