Data released so far:

• Australia: HIA new home sales declined -9.7 percent in July after growing 8.2 percent in the previous month.

Upcoming:

• Germany: Import price index for July will be released at 6:00 GMT.
   
• Italy: Consumer and business confidence for the month of August will be released at 8:00 GMT.
   
• Greece: Second quarter GDP will be released at 9:00 GMT.
   
• United States: Personal consumption expenditure report will be released at 12:30 GMT. Dallas Fed manufacturing index will be released at 14:L30 GMT.
   
• Australia: Building permits report for July will be released at 22:45 GMT.
   
• Japan: Unemployment report for July will be released at 23:30 GMT, along followed by retail sales report at 23:50 GMT.
