Data released so far:

Australia: House prices for the second quarter rose by 2 percent, up 4.1 percent from a year ago.

Upcoming:

Switzerland: SECO economic forecasts report will be released at 5:45 GMT. Trade balance for August will be announced at 6:00 GMT.

Germany: Producer price index for August will be released at 6:00 GMT.

Greece: Greece will be releasing current account details for July at 9:00 GMT.

United States: Building permits and housing starts data will be released at 12:30 GMT, followed by Redbook index at 12:55 GMT.

New Zealand: Global dairy trade auction is scheduled for today.

Canada: BoC governor Poloz will be speaking at 16:45 GMT.

Japan: Trade balance for August will be announced at 23:50 GMT.
