- Australia: Wages grew by 0.5 percent in the second quarter, up 2.1 percent from a year ago. Westpac leading index grew 0.05 percent in June.

- United Kingdom: Unemployment report will be released at 8:30 GMT.
- Switzerland: Zew survey expectations for August will be released at 9:00 GMT.
- United States: MBA mortgage applications will be reported at 11:00 GMT, followed by FOMC minutes at 18:00 GMT. EIA will release weekly crude oil report at 14:30 GMT. Fed’s Bullard is scheduled to speak at 17:00 GMT.
- Japan: Trade balance for July would be announced at 23:50 GMT.
