FxWirePro: Asian markets mixed, gold stabilizes below $1,600 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Thursday. Gold was trading around $1,584 mark while silver was trading around $13.99 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.46 pct lower at 17,990.00 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX200 was trading 1.64 pct lower at 5,165.00 points.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 0.50 pct higher at 1,694.55 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.25 pct lower at 23,033.50 points.

India and Taiwan markets will remain close for the day.
