Fans finally have confirmation that “Fuller House” season 4 will premiere in December. And here are the biggest highlights that await the viewers’ favorite trio — D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).
D.J. and Steve’s Love Story
One of the major highlights confirmed for “Fuller House” season 4 involves the love story of D.J. and Steve (Scott Weinger). After years of uncertainty, the two will finally face the music and act on their feelings for one another.
Bure previously confirmed that her character and Steve “are together” in “Fuller House” season 4 and there will be “no back and forth” this time as D.J. decides to be with her former lover. “I like watching and I hope the fans enjoy actually watching that relationship develop more,” Bure told E! News earlier this year.
Stephanie and Jimmy Are Having a Baby with Help from Kimmy
“Fuller House” season 4 picks up from one of the happiest developments in season 3. Stephanie and Jimmy Gibbler (Adam Hagenbuch) are looking to welcome their first baby. Despite having fertility issues — a very sentimental topic in season 3 — Stephanie’s dream of having a baby is coming true after Kimmy agreed to be her surrogate.
While D.J.’s love life is already a major plot point in “Fuller House” season 4, Bure admitted that Kimmy’s pregnancy will be the bigger focus. And based on the behind-the-scenes photos previously shared online, Kimmy’s pregnancy will be a running storyline up to the finale.
Kimmy’s role in helping Stephanie have the family of her dreams is such a wonderful act of love and friendship. However, Kimmy’s ex-husband and current fiancé, Fernando Hernandez-Guerrero-Fernandez-Guerrero (Juan Pablo Di Pace), might still have some unresolved issues about it. Di Pace recently told ExtraTV that it is something they have to deal with in “Fuller House” season 4 among other things.
“There [are] things that they haven’t really dealt with … this includes kids and drinking. And it’s a season that is kind of unusual, which is nice,” Di Pace teased about “Fuller House” season 4.
