There are seven more episodes left in “Fear The Walking Dead” Season 4 and fans are on the fence whether or not they’re going to continue watching the show. There are a lot of criticisms to be laid down at the feet of the post-apocalyptic horror series, most of which revolve around how writers are handling the show.
For one thing, Morgan Jones (Lennie James) revealed that he wanted to go back to Alexandria and reunite with Rick and his group. In his previous appearances, Morgan simply wanted to live alone in the ravaged wasteland left by the contagion, IGN reported. Since then, the character has changed his perspective and now wants to be around people as he expressed during his appearance in the first half of “Fear the Walking Dead Season 4.”
Morgan tries to convince the group to come with him but only Al (Maggie Grace) agrees. The rest just want to carry on with what they’re working on or to simply forget the horrors of the new world. While there is some trajectory as to where the storyline is headed in the second half of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4, fans are finding it hard to root for the characters who are left.
Madison (Kim Dickens) and Nick (Frank Dillane) are dead, while the remaining crew members are newcomers. In fact, the new characters in “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4 outnumber the original members of the group, which is quite weird given how shows usually stick with the main crew.
What’s more, the show will be adding more cast members in the second part of season 4, which will increase that disparity and intensify the fact that the group doesn’t know what do anymore. As for Morgan, while he did express his desire to go back to Alexandria, showrunner Ian Goldberg said that his arc in “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4 is far from finished.
So it’s safe to say that this character will be tagging along for a while. “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4 is scheduled to return on Aug. 19.
