The PMIs readings of German were beter than the flash reading as it stood at a 3 month peak of 52.9. This improvement is because of stronger output and increase in new orders. On the other hand, Frence PMIs inched down to 50.6, due to fall in output and new orders.
At a aggregate level, the PMIs of euro area remained steady at 50.6 in November.
"This echoes the fairly positive INSEE quarterly survey for industry, and suggests that manufacturing activity should improve in Q4, although the Paris terrorist attacks and their impact of consumer confidence might have knock-on effects", notes Barclays.
