Euro area Q3 IP to remain steady

Euro area industrial production data for September is due today. The month on month industrial figure of the economy posted negative growth of 0.5% in previous month is likely to remain almost steady in September also.

The poor performance of the German industrial production numbers is expected to pull the overall growth rate of the region down. 

In Spain, the figure stood at 1.2% mom, and a similar growth rate is foreseen in France also. This is expected to compensate the poor perforamnce of the German's industrial production. 

Societe Generale estimates, the euro area industrial production is likely to print -0.3% growth in September, whereas the overall effect is likely to be an increase of 0.9% year on year but no change versus the previous quarter.
