“Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 44 will be continuing the search for Moro as the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc is now at full swing. The previous release saw Goku and Vegeta being inducted into the prestigious agency. The Saiyans also saw their first mission of being a member of the fold with Goku directly helping Merus capture the Macareni siblings.
Having dealt with the nuisance, the Galactic Patrol can now focus their attention on a more pressing threat. “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 44 will probably have Goku face Moro for the first time. The titular hero has already tracked down the location of the planet-eater, Business Times reported.
To his surprise, however, Moro sensed that Goku was watching him. And judging by the sly smile of the villain, he may be aware of the Saiyan’s capabilities. After all, Merus did say that Goku and Vegeta’s reputation is pretty popular even among the Galactic Patrols. Meanwhile, Vegeta’ suspicious nature has latched onto Merus and will likely persist on “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 44.
While the prince can’t seem to put his finger on it, he does suspect something about the patrolman. Could it be that Merus has something to do with Moro’s escape? That is a possibility. The previous release has already provided some clues to the patrolman’s power and “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 44 might hint at his motives next.
Right now, it’s unclear why Merus would want to help Moro given the level of threat that the antagonist poses. Indeed, even with Daikaioh at full godly strength and the assistance of South Supreme Kai, they were still struggling to contain the planet-eater. Only through the sacrifice of Daikaioh’s power were they able to seal Moro away. With Vegeta’s suspicion and the potential collision of the Saiyans against the planet-eater, “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 44 is looking like a gripping storyline to follow. The upcoming chapter is slated for release on Jan. 21.
