Deutsche Bank, a German global banking and financial services company, has appointed Tommaso Zanobini as Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Technology (fintech), which is a joint venture between Deutsche Bank’s FIG and TMT banking team.
Zanobini has had experience as a Managing Director at Barclays and Jefferies where he was most recently an MD and the Global Head of Financial Technology and Services based in New York.
“Tommaso’s global relationships with some of the leading companies in the FinTech space will be very valuable as we continue to deepen our coverage within this important vertical,” Mark Keene, Global Co-Head of Technology Media and Telecom, said.
Having extensive experience in M&A, Zanobini aims to bring in his technical expertise in the important and growing space of fintech sector.
Zanobini has served as the Head of Global Technology Services at Barclays and started his career at Lehman Brothers when he joined as an Associate and spent 15 years in their Technology Group. The recent appointment marks the eighth MD hired in Americas Corporate Finance since March and the fourth MD for FIG.
