‘DanMachi’ season 3 episode 12 spoilers: What is Hermes’ real plan
The group of Xenos being led by Fels in episode 11 was relying on a blueprint of the labyrinth to found their way back home. However, it was later revealed that the map they were using was a fake as plotted by Hermes.
“DanMachi” season 3 episode 12 will reveal the reason Hermes decided to trick the Xenos and the Hestia Familia despite his supposed dedication in helping the intelligent monsters be accepted by the humans. Hermes is going to propose that some of the monsters sacrifice themselves to help Bell.
The god wants the Xenos to pretend to go ballistic and rampage above the ground so they can be fought off by Bell in “DanMachi” season 3 episode 12. Hermes will lead the Xenos into thinking that his proposal is all to restore Bell’s reputation, which had gone drastically down since the Adventurer dedicated his time to help them. With nowhere else to go, Fels and the Xenos in his group will agree.
Some of the Xenos decide to sacrifice themselves to get Hermes’ plan going. However, Bell will not fight them until Asterius surprises him and arrives at the scene. The two fight a fierce battle that will be witnessed by the citizens.
While Bell will later lose to Asterius, his Adventurer reputation will be redeemed. Bell’s loss will devastate him in “DanMachi” season 3 episode 12. But based on the events in the light novel, this will also lead to him and Ais agreeing to train together again.
