Pompano Beach, Fla., Jan. 11, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
DS Laboratories is pleased to announce new distribution at leading online retailers in both China and the US. These are two focus markets for DS Healthcare in 2016 and will enable a whole new group of consumers to conveniently access DS Healthcare products from the comfort of their home.
DS Laboratories expects these distribution platforms to be extended with additional products from the DS existing portfolio and/or select products from the 20 exclusive brands they are acquiring through the asset acquisition of W/R Group, Inc. Hero products from each brand or sub-brand may be introduced on a rotating basis to service the marketplace’s desire for the treasure hunt experience of finding innovative products that offer an extremely high value proposition to the home shopper.
“We have partnered with JD.com (Nasdaq: JD) and VIP.com (Nasdaq: VIPS) in China and Costco.com in the US with a curated selection of our high-quality hair growth products under our premium master brand, DS Laboratories,” stated Renee Barch-Niles, CEO. “According to online research data, JD.com is the second largest e-commerce platform in China that currently has 131.9 million active customers accounting for $18.5 billion dollars of revenue in 2014. VIP.com is a top four online retailer with 14.6 million highly loyal consumers that make an average of 3.1 purchases annually from VIP.com. And finally, Costco.com, a leading US retailer, markets to over 50 million loyal shoppers that prefer premium retail stores such as Sephora, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. These are specific, pre-qualified shoppers seeking higher-end, exclusive products that meet our targeted demographic. These three platforms alone—along with our highly targeted marketing campaigns supporting these launches—will bring awareness of the DS Laboratories brand to millions of new customers.”
Manny Gonzalez, CCO, added, “Broad exposure for our Revita and Spectral product lines, under our flagship DS Laboratories brand, will also drive people into the high-end pharmacies and salons in which we distribute in these countries. The credibility that these platforms bring to millions of customers will provide additional education and awareness to those consumers who are actively seeking results-oriented, superior products that only DS Laboratories can provide to address their hair health needs and concerns.”
