Crypto wallet provider Ledger launches software ‘Ledger Live’

Ledger, a leading bitcoin hardware wallet provider, has launched ‘Ledger Live’ – an all-in-one companion application for Ledger devices – Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue.

The software has been built from the ground-up to “deliver a feature-packed, yet user-friendly experience for both power users and newbies.” It supports Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.

“Ledger Live brings together device management and individual currencies in one place, replacing the old system of multiple Chrome-based applications, and adds a range of exciting new features that make owning, managing and transacting crypto assets easier than ever,” said Eric Larcheveque, Ledger CEO.

The new features, aimed at simplifying owning, managing and transacting crypto assets, include simple onboarding, multi-accounts, checking real-time balance, and secure transactions.

According to the official announcement, some features like ERC20 token support will not be available in the first version of Ledger Live, but will be part of future planned regular updates.
