“Chicago” Fire Season 7 will see its premiere on NBC come Sept. 26, but fans already have a few reasons to feel sad and happy at the same time. Monica Raymund will officially be leaving the show, which means goodbye to Gabriella Dawson. On the other hand, it would seem that the Kelly-Stella relationship is in a good place going into the new season.
Finding out that one of the central characters of a show will be leaving is always a bittersweet affair. In the case of Dawson, one of the biggest questions is how her departure is going to be handled, Hidden Remote notes. Her leaving can mean huge changes for the team in “Chicago” Fire Season 7, but even more so for Casey (Jesse Spencer).
After all, Casey and Dawson were discussing the prospect of having a child, either through adoption or through natural pregnancy. It was a tragic discussion that apparently led to the decision that Dawson will be calling it quits in “Chicago” Fire Season 7.
The departure has also thrown the whole team dynamic into chaos, with Dawson representing something of a bridge between all of the other characters. A new girl is coming in to replace her, which will only end up complicating things in “Chicago” Fire Season 7.
In happier news, it seems that Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) will still be blissfully together in “Chicago” Fire Season 7. Speaking recently to Carter Matt, the pair hinted on the fate of the on-screen couple, saying that they will be going strong in the next season.
“Chicago” Fire Season 7 will be premiering on NBC in several days and fans will see for themselves just how good of a relationship they share. It will also likely reveal just how Dawson will leave the show.
