The Chamber of Digital Commerce has launched an affiliate organization, The Foundation of the Chamber of Digital Commerce.
The nonprofit charitable organization will sponsor and support research and educational activities to promote the acceptance and use of digital assets and blockchain technologies. It has been established to help solve some of the most pressing issues in this space including interoperability, scalability and adoption.
“The Foundation is focused on developing creative solutions to the most pressing issues facing the blockchain industry by providing education and supporting research,” the website reads.
According to the official release, the donations to The Foundation will be used to support research and support of open source innovation, education of the workforce, and communications to the public.
The newly launched foundation is now seeking partnerships and faculty across the technology, legal, advisory, and other sectors.
“The Chamber of Digital Commerce has made incredible progress over the past three and a half years in working with industry and the policy community. However, we still have much work to do to reach mass adoption,” said Perianne Boring, founder and president, Chamber of Digital Commerce. “The Foundation of the Chamber of Digital Commerce will serve as a platform to help fuel continued prosperity and growth for the next generation of our industry.”
