Brad Pitt is fighting a losing battle to reconnect with his estranged children, and now, the 60-year-old actor is reportedly enlisting the help of his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, to broker peace. Sources close to the situation claim Pitt is banking on Ines, a 34-year-old jewelry designer, to work her magic and bring his kids back into his life.
Pitt’s relationship with his six children—Maddox (23), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16)—has been strained ever since his highly publicized split from Angelina Jolie in 2016. According to insiders, things have only worsened between Pitt and his children, with some of them reportedly cutting off all communication with their famous father.
A Desperate Plea for Peace
As the fallout from Pitt’s tumultuous divorce with Jolie continues, insiders reveal that Ines de Ramon may be Pitt’s last hope for reconciliation. "Brad’s happily in love, and the only dark spot in his life is his relationship with his kids," an insider disclosed to The National ENQUIRER. "He’s tried everything to fix things, and nothing has worked. That’s why he’s turned to Ines."
The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor has reportedly leaned on Ines to help heal the rift with his children, who have remained loyal to their mother since the divorce. "It’s a long shot, but Brad seems to think Ines can work some magic," shared the source.
A Strained Family Dynamic
Tensions between Pitt and his children have been high ever since Jolie accused him of attacking their son Maddoxduring a private plane incident in 2016—an allegation Pitt has denied. The FBI and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services later cleared him of any wrongdoing, but the damage to his relationship with his kids was already done.
"Things have only gotten worse since the split," an insider revealed. "They’ve all shut him out."
While Pitt could legally enforce visitation rights with his underage twins, Knox and Vivienne, he reportedly refuses to force the issue. "He wants to see them because they choose to see him, not because the courts order them to," the source explained.
A Glimmer of Hope with Ines?
Despite the growing distance between Pitt and his children, the Oscar-winning actor is still holding out hope that Ines might be able to turn things around. "Brad believes Ines is his ace in the hole," confided the insider. "He thinks once the kids meet her, they’ll see what a gem she is."
Even though Pitt’s representatives deny that Ines is involved, sources close to the actor insist he’s counting on her warm, diplomatic nature to help bridge the gap—not just with his kids, but possibly with Angelina Jolie as well.
"Brad’s convinced Ines can convince the kids—and maybe even Angie—to show him some mercy," the source added.
For now, Pitt remains hopeful that he can rebuild his relationship with his children, but only time will tell if Ines can truly help broker peace between the fractured family.
