"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" Episode 65 is about to come for some massive battles. The show, which was supposed to air last July 12, will be released today, July 19, and is set to be the second part of the whole Momishiki battle arc. The delay was due to the "Pokemon" movie countdown which one of "Boruto's" talented animators, Chengxi Huang, also worked on.
"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" already gave fans its treatment of the whole Naruto, Sasuke, Momishiki grand finale when it came out back in 2015. But it had to compress a lof of things from the soure material to fit the whole run time of the movie.
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," as the serial animation that it is, has the luxury of showing fans a more spectacular endgame when Naruto and Sasuke go up against the recently powered up Momishiki.
For those who have yet to watch the "Boruto: Naruto Movie" or have read the manga, spoilers await as the following will be speculations on how "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will handle the spectacular fight.
Last episode showed us a captured Naruto who was being drained of Kumara's chakra by Momishiki and Kinshiki. Naruto then proceeds to get saved by his son, Boruto, and his Kage posse. The fight between the Kage and Momishiki was intense, but just as Momishiki was on the brink of defeat, he consumes Kinshiki, which allows him to come back way stronger.
Fans know that Naruto and Sasuke fight Momishiki during this battle, but not what moves the pair will use against the villain considering the awesome animation team. We also know that Naruto and Sasuke won't be enough to defeat Momishiki this time and Boruto plays a very important role in this villain's defeat. The questions is, how faithful will “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 65 be to the original manga compared to the “Boruto: Naruto the Movie” treatment?
