Available teasers for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79 reveal that someone will arrive to help the titular protagonist in an upcoming battle against Kokuyo. Meanwhile, Mitsuki and Boruto are close to their much-awaited reunion but a happy ending might still be elusive.
A few weeks ago, the synopses for the latest episodes of the anime series were reported by Spiralling Sphere. For “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79, the article revealed some details about an upcoming battle with a new opponent.
The said enemy is Kokuyo of the Hidden Stone Village, and it was confirmed that he has enough strength to defeat a Jonin, a much higher level of shinobi than Boruto currently is. And it was an obvious hint that “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79 will offer yet another fierce battle.
While Kokuyo has a great advantage over Boruto, Sarada, and Shikadai, the “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79 teaser confirms that the three will get help — most likely from someone whom Naruto will send their way. So far, the helper has no name yet. But OtakuKart suggests that one of the most likely candidates is Konohamaru.
Kokuyo does not seem the type to back down easily. So the viewers can expect that there will be enough fighting scenes in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79 before Kokuyo is finally defeated.
A battle preview also hints that Boruto, Sarada, and Shikadai will arrive where Kokuyo is without anyone else. So the anonymous helper will most likely show up mid-fight in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79. Nevertheless, his or her help seems to be the key to eventually defeating Kokuyo.
There is no doubt that Mitsuki and Boruto will finally talk in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79. For one, the title clearly says it will happen. Spoilers also confirm it is going to be a major part of the episode.
However, whatever happens after their much-awaited reunion is still anybody’s guess. But fans who know Mitsuki well may have a hint that if he decides to stay with Sekiei and the others from Hidden Stone, Orochimaru’s son means well. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 79 will officially air on Oct. 28.
