Some viewers thought the Mitsuki arc would end up being just a mere filler in the anime series. However, the upcoming “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 77 might have several important scenes that will affect the entire storyline in the future.

Fans can expect to get more answers about the disappearance of Mitsuki. The preview for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 77 finally shows Mitsuki's return. But, interestingly, he is accompanied by several ninjas of the Hidden Stone Village.

People may recall that the Hidden Stone Village has a rap sheet and is a known enemy to the Hidden Leaf Village. Does this mean Mitsuki decided to turn its back on Konohagakure or is he being held hostage? Hopefully, some answers will be provided in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 77.

But instead of killing him to collect his Reverse Scale, Boruto is reportedly going to offer the one-eyed giant snake a deal. Most likely, it involves bringing back Chocho to her normal state as well as surrendering the Reverse Scale.
