‘Boruto’ Chapter 31 Release Date, Spoilers: Boruto Inherits Naruto’s Curse? The Jinchuuriki Case

There have been a lot of parallels between “Boruto” and “Naruto” that have revealed themselves throughout the existence of the manga. However, the closest similarity yet might have shown itself in the previous chapter of the series. Although “Boruto” Chapter 31 might not actually touch on the matter, is it possible that a shared father and son curse is going on?

Fans would be familiar with the situation that Naruto found himself in during the telling of his story where being the Jinchuuriki of the nine-tailed fox demon made him an outcast. This is far from the case now, where he is the Hokage of Konoha and his son is beloved right from the outset. Unfortunately, being given the karma mark might have changed this and “Boruto” Chapter 31 might show as much.

This is because the previous chapter showed an old character making an appearance in Momoshiki Otsutsuki, who fans will remember from the 2015 anime film, “Boruto: Naruto the Movie.” In that flick, Konoha’s elites had to fight world-devouring monsters, of which Momoshiki Otsutsuki was a member. The fact that he showed up in the previous chapter could mean that he is now residing inside Boruto, which “Boruto” Chapter 31 will hopefully clarify a bit.

While “Boruto” Chapter 31 will likely focus more on the upcoming fight between Delta and Naruto, it’s also possible for Boruto and the rest to get dragged into the scuffle. If so, using karma would not be out of the question for the young ninja. If the appearance of Momoshiki Otsutsuki is any indication, however, this might not be the best move for him.

It’s unfortunate that “Boruto” Chapter 31 is still a long way off from being released. The slow pace is starting to get on the nerves of some readers. Still, it’s a fact that the next chapter will come out on Jan. 28.
