“Boruto” Manga Chapter 28 is going to expound on the relationship between Boruto and Kawaki, with both of them possibly being obligated to work together. The team-up is for Kawaki to make enough money to replace the vase he broke which held a lot of sentimental value for Boruto, Otaku Art reported.
It can be recalled that Kawaki asked Boruto for a possible team-up but the latter rejected the offer because he was still upset about the whole vase situation. The sentiment was due to the fact that the vase was made by Himawari and was going to give it as a gift to their mother, Hinata. As such, “Boruto” Manga Chapter 28 is going to have Kawaki replace the vase by having him perform ninja missions for the village.
While this avenue is a noble one and will surely teach Kawaki to take responsibility, it is ill-advised. Kawaki is a dangerous individual with a group of powerful criminals pursuing the youth. It was revealed in the previous chapters that Jigen experimented on him in order to pass the Karma mark, a mark that the shady character is trying to get rid of. Of course, the mission of Kawaki and Boruto will likely be overseen by a few notable individuals in “Boruto” Manga Chapter 28 given the threat of the organization who is after the youth.
Kara, the group that Jigen is a part of, has been touted to be a high-level threat to the protagonists of the series. In the past, its members took a long time to retrieve Kawaki but have now been mostly silent, likely plotting their next move to snatch the youth. It’s still unclear what Kara’s overall motives are at the moment and fans are hoping “Boruto” Manga Chapter 28 can shed more light on this matter.
Unfortunately, it will be a slow pace to reach that state as “Boruto” Manga Chapter 28 is going to be released on Oct. 22, a full month after the previous chapter was released. What’s even worse is that the anime will be even more delayed given that it relies on the manga to produce more material for the animated show.
