“Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 209 will be out on Dec. 7 and fans can’t wait to see how Midoriya will perform during the controlled altercation. Right now, Shinso and Monoma pose the greatest threat to the team of Class 1-A as their Quirks are tricky to deal with.
Shinso has the ability to brainwash his opponents and if he manages to activate his Quirk on Midoriya, Mina, or Ochaco then the odds will slide heavily towards Class 1-B’s favor. But what’s really interesting about “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 209 is the possibility of Monoma copying Midoriya’s One For All ability.
This Quirk is one of the series’ most closely guarded secret and if Monoma manages to get a hold of it, then it can potentially spin out of control. This is especially true since Monoma has a grudge against Class 1-A. Of course, the secret is far bigger than the classes’ rivalry and Monoma could very well try to hide it if he manages to copy the Quirk in “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 209.
After all, the reason behind all this secrecy is that All Might’s power has now been reduced to a sorry state and there’s no one strong enough to stand against All For One. Midoriya has leagues to go before he can go toe to toe with the series’ extremely powerful antagonist. There’s also the fact that Monoma could inadvertently hurt everyone in the mock battle if he tries to use One For All in “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 209.
Fans have already seen the damage the ability can inflict on one’s body if the Quirk’s user isn’t properly trained in controlling it. Another avenue that Monoma can take is copying the Quirk of Shinso so that their team has two members that are capable of brainwashing opponents. Class 1-B could potentially use this by baiting their opponent into answering the questions of Monoma, which will then activate the Quirk. “Boku no Hero Academia” Chapter 209 certainly has a lot going on for it and it’s understandable that Kōhei Horikoshi saved the matchup for last.
With Shinso wanting to get even with Midoriya and Monoma thirsting to bring down Class 1-A, the next match will undoubtedly span for several chapters given how interesting it is. Hopefully, the payout is satisfying for the characters and fans alike.
