NEM, a global blockchain enterprise solution platform, has joined blockchain startups, Kchain and Aston, for the upcoming “Blockchain Tour @Korea.”
Hosted by TokenPost and EconoTimes, it is the first-of-its-kind tour in the country – visiting five different cities to spread awareness on blockchain technology.
“Blockchain technology has huge potential to improve the efficiency of existing processes across various industries from real estate, to finance, to healthcare services. Through different forums and tours, we want to help businesses understand this innovative technology and leverage it to reduce costs and make their processes more efficient,” said Sonny Kwon, organizer of the event.
NEM, Kchain, Aston and Metaps Plus will travel to major cities in Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Seoul to share the future of the blockchain. The tour will touch on the latest hot topics, trends, and companies in this space.
The tour follows a blockchain developer forum held in Korea in September by NEM and Kchain, a Korean blockchain SI company. Kchain represents NEM enterprise solution locally in South Korea.
“Kchain in Korea is a project that I’m involved in. We want to help build blockchain applications in Korea. Up until this time, the main blockchain platforms in Korea have mainly been bitcoin and may be Ethereum. They have gained a lot of news and attention but so far there hasn’t been a lot of real world projects launched in Korea. I believe with Kchain we can start to bring those projects and launch them so that people are really using the blockchain for real everyday uses,” NEM VP Jeff McDonald said in an exclusive interview with EconoTimes.
Starting today, November 27, 2017, the tour will run till December 08, 2017. Jeff McDonald will be will be sharing his insights during the tour.
