‘Blindspot’ Season 2, Episode 16 Spoilers: “Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd I Did Live” – Jane, Weller Face Old Enemy; Another Mole Revealed?

‘Blindspot’ season 2’s episode 16, titled “Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd I Did Live,” is set to follow Jane and Weller as they face an old enemy. As Jane and Weller meet Nas’ inside source within Sandstorm, another mole may reveal himself. Meanwhile, actress Jaimie Alexander addressed her character’s feelings for Sullivan Stapleton’s Weller.

The brief synopsis for “Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd I Did Live” posted on TV Guide reads, “Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Jane (Jaimie Alexander) come face-to-face with Nas' (Archie Panjabi) inside source within Sandstorm, and they square off with an old foe.”

The upcoming episode will feature connections between Weller and Jane’s past, according to Cartermatt, as the series heads to the season finale. The two will finally meet Nas’ inside source within Sandstorm and will battle it out with an old enemy.

Weller and his allies successfully managed to stop a large shipment of people for black market organ transplants in the previous episode. Despite their achievement, National Security Agency's (NSA) Zero Division agent Nas wasn’t as lucky after she got choked with a piece of string by a masked man hiding in the back of her car. Her fate remains unknown.

The FBI agent has also learned to regain his trust in Jane, who proved to be a valuable asset in tracking down project Sandstorm. During a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, actress Jaimie Alexander addressed Weller and Jane’s closeness in the upcoming episodes.

When asked about Jane’s feelings for Weller, Alexander explained, “The thing is you don’t want to cloud your judgment in a job like that. In the FBI, when things can get a bit hairy, you want to make sure that your eye is on the prize, you’re focused, and you can’t let emotions come into it.”

She continued, “With Weller and Jane, there’s just something that they have that’s the same; they get each other. There’s an ease about it. They can sit in the same room and not talk and just be happy that they’re in the same room so they know each other is safe."

Alexander added, “If they’ll ever have anything normal, I don’t think so. I don’t think it could ever be normal, but that’s the beauty in it. That’s why it’s so intoxicating and alluring is that it’s not run-of-the-mill, nor could it ever be. Instead of maybe trying to force it to be something, they should just accept it for what it is.”

It also seems that another mole will present himself in the upcoming episode. Alexander teased, “You’ll find out in episode 16 why [Sandstorm is] one step ahead… There will be a series of flashbacks where, without knowing, all of us filmed something that plays into how they know certain things, and we, as actors, didn’t even know. There’s going to be flashbacks of moments that things were happening as to why they’re one step ahead.”

‘Blindspot’ season 2’s episode 16, titled “Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd I Did Live,” is scheduled to air on NBC on March 22, 2017. It will be followed by episode 17, titled "Solos," scheduled to air on March 29.
