Gwen Stefani recently posted a throwback video of her and Blake Shelton in an attempt to console the country singer for his recent loss on the 15th season of “The Voice.” The clip featured the couple walking together with the “Wind It Up” singer telling her beau that he’s a winner despite the result.
The finale of “The Voice” Season 15 saw Blake Shelton’s candidate, Chris Kroeze, losing to Chevel Shepherd, who is from Kelly Clarkson’s team. This was such an interesting clash to behold given that both singers are on the country genre. And with Shepherd besting Shelton’s team, she essentially beat Gwen Stefani’s boyfriend at his own game.
Of course, being Blake Shelton, he took the loss with grace and congratulated Shepherd for her moving and heartfelt performance. But now that “The Voice” is over, the narrative is quickly shifting once again to the engagement rumors between the country singer and Gwen Stefani.
The “Hollaback Girl” singer set the record straight during her interview with TODAY’s Natalie Morales that there is “zero pressure” at home for them to wed. In fact, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton seem to be content with the set-up they have at the moment and doesn’t appear to have any plans for a wedding anytime soon.
But Gwen Stefani did say she hopes Blake Shelton would be the one. Despite the couple’s relationship getting plagued by various rumors this year, they’re still going strong and continues to support each other.
Right now, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are preparing their household for Christmas and it seems that they’re more than ready to celebrate it. The “Rich Girl” singer said that she wants her children to enjoy Christmas similar to what she experienced when she was a child. She also said that it’s been a blast recording songs about the holiday season and she’s aiming to create a single that would be considered a classic one day.
