Benedict Cumberbatch and wife Sophie Truner are said to be going through a tough time with regards to their marriage. It was reported that the “Avengers: Endgame” star was mostly at fault as his busy work schedule is being blamed for the alleged marital issues.
OK! Magazine reported that these days, Cumberbatch has been super focused on his work that his family life is starting to suffer. It was mentioned that the actor has been very busy lately that he has no time for his wife and two sons.
“He’s been getting the kinds of offers that he can’t possibly pass up,” the tipster revealed. “He’s pulling in a fortune and has more Marvel movies planned, in addition to his usual roster of high-end dramas, but it means a lot of time away from his family.”
The source explained that it already came to a point when Benedict Cumberbatch is “at a crossroads” between work and his marriage. He wants to be with his wife, but then he also needs to grab all the opportunities coming his way as these big projects may never come his way again.
“There’s no doubt that he wants to spend more time with his wife, but he needs to strike while the iron’s hot – and that’s right now,” the source said.
However, it appears that this story is made up. Gossip Cop investigated the story and after checking with someone who knows the real situation between Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, the gossip police confidently debunked the report that was published on OK! Magazine. GC was told that the story was totally false and not even close to the couple’s family situation.
What’s more, in the recent BAFTA TV Awards, Cumberbatch and Turner walked on the red carpet together, and they even packed on PDA that was caught on camera. The Daily Mail reported that the actor won the Best Actor award, and during his speech, he thanked his wife for her love and support.
After expressing his gratitude to the award-giving and his bestfriend Adam Ackland, he said, “There is one other person in this world I have to thank, and that's my wife Sophie, you were my rock. I had to go pretty weird for this there were some things I had to do and it was very nice to come home and feel stable again.”
This speech alone is enough to debunk the rumors about Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Turner’s marital woes that supposedly breaking up their union and family. Thus, to conclude, the report is not true and rather than having troubles in their marriage, the couple is clearly supportive of each other’s career.
