“Avengers 4” is one of the most highly anticipated movie properties in history. There has been nothing like the hype building up to the release of the film, which is seen as the culmination of a decade’s worth of world-building. Recently, images have been leaking or being shared that might offer a look into what fans can expect. Among them is a possible major spoiler involving the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). [Spoilers Ahead].
As GameSpot notes, principal photography for “Avengers 4” was already done last year. However, it would seem that some of the cast and crew were called back for additional shoots. This included Benedict Wong who plays the Sorcerer friend of Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), also named Wong.
In a recent Instagram post, the actor shared a rather bizarre photo of him looking like the skin on the back of his head was being peeled off. Naturally, one can assume that this was prosthetics, but what could have necessitated the radical approach of creating hair and skin for the back of Wong’s skull? One popular theory is that a Skrull was masquerading as him or that he was a Skrull all along in “Avengers 4.”
“Happy to be filming @avengers 4. But the cleaning of spoilers is a bit much!” the post’s caption reads.
Another photo that was shared on social media is part of a series of leaks that give away a ton of spoilers for “Avengers 4,” and it is of the Hulk. Still available on Jonathan Tong’s Twitter account, the image seems to feature Professor Hulk, as well as that of a reactor for Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).

“A closer look of the professor hulk and ironman brand new reactor,” the caption reads.
For those who may not know, Professor Hulk is the combined intellect of Bruce Banner and the strength of the Hulk in one body. If these leaks are of any indication, fans could be in for another nod to nerd culture in spectacular fashion when “Avengers 4” premieres on April 27, 2019.
