It would seem that the events in the most recent chapter of the manga went contrary to what many readers were expecting. Levi easily defeated his comrades who were turned into titans and did the same to Zeke after he transformed into the Beast Titan. On the other hand, it would seem that Eren has completely taken over the military brass. Will he hold public executions in “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114 next to demand the return of his brother?
If nothing else, it has been made clear that the once beloved Eren is not messing around when it comes to achieving his goals. He did just allow his former instructor to get decimated by trainees, so it would appear that he really will not allow sentimentality to hold him back. As such, in order to have Zeke returned to him, threatening to kill Levi’s remaining comrades in “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114 would not be out of the question.
On the other hand, news of Zeke’s recapture by Levi might not have reached Eren’s ears yet in “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114. With this being the case, he might focus on consolidating his power, starting with the search for Historia. If he should find the pregnant woman who he once risked his life to protect, he will have considerable leverage that would solidify his position.
He would then have less trouble controlling the Eldian military and would be able to finally put in motion what he has been planning with Zeke. Speaking of whom, the last panel of the recent chapter noted how he had a mission. “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114 might provide details on what this is, but fans will have to wait until the first week of February to find out more. It’s going to be an exciting few months.
