Apple is reportedly planning a significant overhaul for the iPhone SE 4, featuring a 6.1-inch notched display and Face ID, marking a departure from its traditional design and introducing potential game-changing features for the budget-friendly model.
Unveiling the Redesigned iPhone SE 4: Exclusive CAD Renders and Notable Features
CAD Renders of the iPhone SE4 indicate a notched display with Face ID. Previous iterations of the iPhone SE were constructed using Apple's older iPhone models that featured a home button. The brand is organizing a complete redesign for the very first time.
91Mobiles confirmed, on the basis of CAD renders obtained from industry sources, that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch display. This is a substantial improvement over the 4.7-inch display with the home button on the iPhone SE 5G.
In addition, the CAD renders indicate that the iPhone SE 4 will have a notch comparable in size to that of the iPhone 13/14 series and will accommodate the Face ID module. As with its predecessors, the phone will feature a solitary primary camera situated at the rear.
It will measure 147.7 x 71.5 x 7.7 mm, which is comparable to the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. This supports the report from MacRumors from the previous year that the device may also include a USB-C port and an Action Button (the nature of which remains uncertain based on the renders provided).
Anticipated Debut and Potential Impact: iPhone SE 4 Launch Speculations
It is anticipated that the fourth generation iPhone SE will debut in 2025. However, given the accumulation of rumors, it is not unexpected that the device may be unveiled at the fall event of this year in conjunction with the iPhone 16 series. An affordable model among the iPhone 16 series' anticipated relatively moderate updates could potentially bolster sales in developing nations.
