AAPL Stock Sees 15% Spike on AI Announcement
The AAPL stock price spiked by 15% in reaction to Apple's presentation of Apple Intelligence during the WWDC conference in early June. Analysts are putting money on Apple's latest phones' exclusive use of Apple AI, also known as Apple Intelligence, to increase iPhone sales.
However, Apple's AI endeavor may mark a turning point for generative AI, which is not only a sales driver. Erik Woodring, an analyst at Morgan Stanley, stated the following in a note to investors:
“Apple Intelligence remains the key to unlocking pent-up iPhone demand and accelerating replacement cycle, and we expect Apple’s… event to heavily feature AI integration on the new iPhone 16”.

Among Apple's many software products, AI push is expected to improve Siri's experience, summarize threads of text messages, bring priority emails to the front of the inbox, and much more.
Top AI coins, including Near Protocol (NEAR), Injective Protocol (INJ), and Fetch.ai (FET), all returned 100–350% on the annual charts, demonstrating the significant traction that AI currencies have achieved over the past year.
