Reports have it that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have yet to reach a long-term agreement when it comes to the custody of their children. But the estranged couple seem to have learned how to juggle these struggles with their ever-growing Hollywood careers.
The separation and yet-to-be-finalized divorce of Jolie and Pitt are most likely one of the highly followed stories in Hollywood. However, for a fresh take, fans should also note that both actors are working on their respective movie projects, one after the other.
Pitt is reportedly still filming scenes for the star-studded Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Jolie’s ex, as well as his co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, are all donning retro-inspired outfits in behind-the-scenes photos shared online.
Meanwhile, the making of “World War Z 2” has also been confirmed even before Brad Pitt wraps up filming for "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." The first installment was released in the year before Pitt married Angelina Jolie. Due to Pitt’s and director David Fincher’s 2018 schedules, the production of “World War Z 2” is not expected to commence this year.
On the other hand, Pitt’s estranged wife has just finished filming for the upcoming fantasy drama “Come Away.” Jolie portrays the role of Peter Pan and Alice’s mother in this piece that reimagines the classic tales of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and J. M. Barrie’s “Peter Pan.” Before filming for “Come Away,” Jolie was also kept busy by the production of “Maleficent 2,” which concluded in August.
Like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s characters in “Come Away” and “Maleficent 2” require her to go through costume and props transformations. Fans are likely familiar with her Maleficent appearance by now.
Meanwhile, her "Come Away" co-star David Oyelowo shared on Instagram how Jolie looks as the matriarch named Rose. Pitt's ex joined the cast and crew for a photo while sporting a blonde wig styled after the popular hairdos during the Victorian era.
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016 but it is believed that the unresolved custody agreement is one major roadblock to legally dissolving their marriage. In June, the court reportedly needed to intervene and ordered Jolie in allowing her ex to be with and contact their children. Then the estranged couple became the subject of many headlines after publicly arguing over alleged insufficient child support on Pitt’s end.
