Angelina Jolie supposedly found an ally amidst her divorce case with ex-partner Brad Pitt. The ally in question is Tom Cruise’s ex-wife, Nicole Kidman.
The rumor was started by Radar Online (via Gossip Cop), a tabloid that oftentimes publishes stories that are unfounded. And this time, it’s likely the same case as the magazine has failed to provide any proof that Nicole Kidman has involved herself in the narrative governing Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce proceedings.
As the publication would have it, Nicole Kidman apparently applauds Angelina Jolie for approaching the case with a “tough-as-nails” attitude. An unknown source of the tabloid claimed that the “Moulin Rouge” actress said she should have applied the same approach when she was going through the same thing with Tom Cruise. The tipster added that Kidman could have gotten “more money” from the settlement if she did but is happy now that the “Tomb Raider” star is employing the strategy against Brad Pitt.
It goes without saying that this accusation is quite heavy, especially given the fact that Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman are as good as strangers to each other even if they’re in the same industry. A quick research online would tell readers that the two were last seen together 11 years ago, when they were photographed during the premiere of “God Grew Tired of Us.” Brad Pitt can also be seen in the photo collection, a time when his relationship with Jolie was still standing on solid ground.
Now, it has devolved into a nasty divorce proceeding where Angelina Jolie is accusing Brad Pitt of being in negligent with his responsibilities. The “Troy” actor countered that he has already spent millions of dollars in child support and the accusation is unfounded.
"Divorce Court" judge Lynn Toler even said that she often uses Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce as an example of how to manage a case like this. Judge Toler told Page Six that she wishes the two would return to how they handled things in the past as it was "how to get it done.”
