Adobe on Monday launched Premier Clip for Android, its first video editor for the Google’s platform. The tool lets a user sync a soundtrack, add slo-mo effects, and adjust lighting to get a movie ready for its close-up. It requires Android v4.4 and higher and has a size of 45MB.
“Premiere Clip is a free video editor that makes it fast and fun to create quality videos that can be easily shared - or easily opened in Adobe Premiere Pro CC for extra polish”, the description of the app reads on Google Play.
According to The Verge, the Android version quite identical to the iOS version launched last year. Like on iOS, the editor’s integration with other Adobe apps is quite impressive.
“It can pull in visual looks you've created using Adobe Capture, letting you easily apply custom color grading to clips. Projects created in Clip can also be synced back to Premiere on the desktop, letting you pick up with more advanced tools exactly where you left off on mobile”, The Verge explains.
Users can save finished videos to their gallery, share directly to Twitter, Facebook or YouTube, or send them to Premiere Pro CC for additional editing.
