The Pharma Blockchain Bootcamp will be held on November 16, 2016, in Edison, New Jersey, and will see speaker line-up of blockchain leaders from leading health innovators including Michael Dillhyon of YouBase, Leonard Kish of Self Care Catalysts, Josh Robinson of BitBoss, and Carlos Sanchez of iSolve, among others.
The first blockchain conference exclusively for the bio/pharma industry is a one-day seminar that will provide a comprehensive business technical introduction to the distributed ledger technology. It will address the applicable areas that would benefit from its application, and the business, regulatory and legal considerations to be considered while adopting blockchain technology, among others.
“We believe there is a need for greater understanding of blockchain technologies, the impacts they can make today, and in the future, as it continues to evolve across the many use cases, domains, and sectors. As such, we see our teaming with DisruptiveRx focused on educating on distributed ledger technologies, inclusive of standardization, for business executives and technology professionals in the Pharma sector an important reflection of this very point,” Alpesh Shah, senior director, IEEE Standard Association said as reported by Cryptoicoinsnews.com.
The Pharma Blockchain Bootcamp is supported by the IEEE Standards Association and its partners include BlockRx Project, an initiative led by iSolve; and the Center for Supply Chain Studies. The conference is aimed to enable business and technical professionals to effectively evaluate all the considerations surrounding this application in a highly interactive and educational setting.
The conference is open for registration and is seeking enterprise data architect, information security officer, enterprise risk manager, and/or business unit leader (supply chain, clinical trials, or R&D) to inculcate an innovative approach to manage, secure and leverage data assets.
