Uniswap Labs, a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, announced the launch of an Android Wallet App with a fixed swap function. This is now available to users after the completion of the beta testing run.
Uniswap Labs’ new Android wallet app is downloadable via the Google Play Store. Users around the world can use the app for crypto services they would like to have.
Android Version Public Launch
As per CoinTelegraph, Uniswap Labs’ vice president of design, Callil Capuozzo, said that with the new app, users can make swaps via the decentralized exchange (DEX) without leaving Uniswap’s platform. The Android Wallet is integrated within the app so a separate web browser extension is not needed.
The company released the closed beta version of the app in the early part of October, and now it is launching the full version. This is the first time that this Android version has been made available for everyone. Uniswap already unveiled the edition for the iOS operating system in April.
Added Support for Global Users
Meanwhile, Capuozzo said that Uniswap added support for various languages such as English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Portuguese. This is an added feature that lets users from anywhere in the world view the value of their cryptocurrency in their own native currency.
“We are excited to bring Uniswap to everyone's pocket with the release of Uniswap on Android. The Uniswap app first launched on iOS in April and in less than a month became a top 3 wallet for new downloads. Now, we're bringing a simpler and safer way to swap on the go to Android users,” the crypto exchange said in its announcement. “Getting the details right is important to us. Over the past few months, we have meticulously adapted Uniswap to Android to match the same swapping experience that millions have on Uniswap.”
