‘The Originals’ season 4’s episode 5, titled I Hear You Knocking,” will follow Klaus and Marcel as they are haunted by an evil ghost. The two have been marked by The Hollow’s dark magic. They may end up in a fight to the death.
The lengthy synopsis for “I Hear You Knocking” posted on TV Guide reads, “Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) experience the symptoms of a malevolent haunting, which forces them on a violent collision course.
Meanwhile, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) uncovers a link between the dark magic and her former wolf pack; and Keelin (Christina Moses) struggles with whether to help Freya (Riley Voelkel) or flee the Mikaelsons forever.”
The upcoming episode is set to pit Klaus Mikaelson against Marcel Gerard as they have become the victims of a haunting. The promo hints that the two will eventually end up fighting to the death.
In the final scene from the promo for episode 5, Klaus and Marcel are in a seemingly abandoned dark house together. They then pull out weapons, ready for battle. Klaus then tells Marcel, “Neither of us is to leave until one of us dies.”
Meanwhile, Hayley and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are set to seek Mary (guest star Debra Mooney) after Hayley discover a connection between her former wolf pack and the dark magic. Freya, on the other hand, will risk her life to cure Klaus’ infection. It seems that she will do anything to help save him.
Keelin will also be forced to face a dilemma of whether to honor her Hippocratic Oath and help Freya or finally escape the Mikaelsons for good. According to Christian Today, Keelin may not take her opportunity to get away since she may develop strong feelings for Freya.
‘The Originals’ season 4’s episode 5, titled I Hear You Knocking,” is scheduled to air on The CW on April 14, 2017. It was directed by Chris Grismer and written by Kyle Arrington. It will be followed by episode 6, titled "Bag of Cobras,” scheduled to be released on April 28 and directed by Jesse Warn.
