Swiss blockchain firm Lykke announces Accelerator service

Swiss-based blockchain firm Lykke announced that its applications and open-source platform can be incorporated into the existing products in order to accelerate performance.

The ‘Lykke Accelerator’ service offers custom integration of the company’s trading platform and app to its existing products, turn-key wallets, and digital products to exchange, the release stated. The accelerator platform is currently offering currencies and the potential for trading many different types of assets.

“The Lykke Accelerator is an exciting step. We’ve spent the last year building a world-class platform, and now we want other companies to get the benefits of our work. Fintech startups and existing financial institutions can integrate the Lykke suite of products to offer their customers a seamless experience, where trades settle in minutes and safety is increased,” Richard Olsen, founder, and CEO of Lykke and former CEO of OANDA, stated.

The Lykke wallet, an open-source app for iOS and Android, allows customers to sign up using Lykke’s KYC and support, transfer money in, purchase and trade assets, and transfer money away. On the other hand, the Lykke exchange is where trades take place between wallets, there are no fees, spreads are ultra low, and settlement takes place on the blockchain within minutes.

The turn-key applications include digital banking that provides security and immediate settlement, a peer-to-peer lending wallet that simplifies the entire value chain, industry groups, and consortia, IoT wallet that allows devices to spend money, merchants that are looking for cross-border loyalty and points systems, among others.

The company has called for sales partners and integration in order to help bring the services to verticals and countries where they have expertise.
