Samsung affirms in a post that the Galaxy Ring will be displayed at its booth during Mobile World Congress 2024.

“Samsung will be displaying its intelligent health lineup at MWC, offering users even more personalized and seamless health experiences with the transformative power of AI, across even more devices. As part of this portfolio, Galaxy Ring is being unveiled as a new health form factor that simplifies everyday wellness, supporting smarter and healthier living via a more connected digital wellness platform — Samsung Health.”

Samsung Set to Unveil Galaxy A55 with High-End Specs, Google Play Console Reveals

In the coming weeks, Samsung is expected to introduce a pair of new Galaxy A series smartphones. The Galaxy A55, one of these devices, has been the subject of numerous disclosures prior to its release.

The Galaxy A55 has been granted a multitude of certifications. Google Play Console has now joined the group in revealing the specifications and design details of the Galaxy A55.

The Google Play Console listing for the forthcoming Galaxy A55 unveiled its primary specifications and design. The design of the device, as it appears on the Play Console, corresponds to previously released live images and renders.

The rear of the handset will feature a vertically aligned triple primary camera configuration and a punch-hole design. Furthermore, the image indicates that the handset will have extremely small bezels. The images also depict the volume rocker and power controls of the phone positioned on the right side.

Additionally, the essential technical details of the Galaxy A55 have been revealed in the listing on the Play Console. These results are consistent with previous listings on certification sites such as Geekbench, with the exception of disclosures from other sources. The design and specifications suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A55 will be positioned as a high-end mid-range product.

The Google Play Console indicates that an Exynos 1480 processor will power the Galaxy A55. Additionally, it is stated in the listing that the Samsung Xclipse 530 GPU will be coupled with the octa-core chipset. When coupled with 8GB of RAM, this configuration indicates that the handset will offer considerable computational capabilities.

The Play Console certification also indicates that the phone will ship pre-installed with Android 14. It is unclear whether the device will feature the manufacturer's OneUI 6.0 or OneUI 6.1 interface.

In addition, the Play Console certification indicates that the Galaxy A55 is anticipated to feature a screen resolution of 2,340 by 1,080 pixels. The screen density of the display panel will be 450ppi. Although the listing does not specify the screen size, previous rumors have suggested it may be a 6.5-inch full HD display. Additional information regarding the device has not been disclosed in the Play Console listing.

However, previous rumors suggested that the Galaxy A55 could feature as much as 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. In addition to a 120Hz refresh rate, the screen of the handset will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. In addition to a 5,000mAh battery and 50MP+12MP+5MP triple primary cameras, it will also include a 32MP facial camera.

The Galaxy A55 5G is anticipated to be released by Samsung in the second quarter of this year, commencing in April. It is worth noting that the Galaxy A54, the handset's predecessor, was introduced during the initial half of March 2023. Due to the fact that nearly every detail about the device has been revealed, an official announcement is imminent; therefore, remain tuned.
