PS Logistics, a leading national transportation and logistics company, has joined the recently formed Blockchain in Trucking Alliance (BiTA) as a charter member.

The company aims to help advance the transportation industry through smart technologies and standardized performance standards through this collaboration. PS Logistics is joining TransRisk, Triumph Business Capital, Fleet Complete, and McLeod Software among other companies as charter members of BiTA.

Founded in August 2017, BiTA will provide a platform to members to participate, discuss, create, and adopt industry standard uses of Blockchain applications, providing clarity and direction for the development of blockchain technology in the trucking industry in a manner that will create efficiency, transparency, and foster trust. It plans to build the first set of transportation industry-specific blockchain standards to help propel the evolution of the trucking industry.
