Moscow to host international blockchain conference on February 28

Moscow will be hosting an international blockchain technology conference on February 28, 2017, with the support of Open Systems publishing house.

The international conference helps in the discussion of new tools and features that are available in the blockchain platforms and also get familiarize with real projects based on the nascent technology. The ‘Технологии блокчейна’ (Technologies Blockchain) event follows the series of seminars and conferences including ‘Database Technology’, ‘Technology of Big Data’, among others that were organized by Open Systems (loosely translated).

The conference will address on modern blockchain ecosystems; blockchain platforms like Hyperledger, EmerCoin, Ethereum, R3, among others; the security and unsolved problems of blockchain; its potentials in insurance, secure customer identification, notaries, smart contracts, real estate, among others.

“Blockchain has high expectations, but its widespread use is not possible without an objective assessment of the maturity and the availability of relevant technologies, their level of reliability and scalability, as well as without the support of hands-on experience,” the organizers stated (loosely translated).

The ‘Technologies Blockchain’ conference will see speeches and panels involving experts in the blockchain and digital currency industry. The event speakers include Paul Guzhikov from Bongo Research & Development, Alexander Ivanov from Waves Platform, Maxim Azrilyan from Alfa Bank, Sergey Ivliev from Lykke, Denis Smirnov from Lisk.io, among others.

The registrations are open for the blockchain conference and the tickets are priced at 8950 RUB.
