- Canada: National Australia Bank’s business conditions rose to 16 in January. Business confidence improved to 10.
- China: Consumer price index rose 1 percent in January, up 2.5 percent from a year ago. Producer price index rose by 6.9 percent y/y in January.
Upcoming:
- Japan: Industrial production for December will be released at 4:30 GMT.
- Germany: HICP inflation for January will be released at 7:00 GMT, along with the fourth quarter GDP.
- Switzerland: Consumer price inflation and producer price inflation for January will be released at 8:15 GMT.
- Italy: Fourth quarter GDP number will be released at 9:00 GMT.
- United Kingdom: RPI, PPI, CPI, and HPI inflation will be reported at 9:30 GMT.
- Germany: Zew survey report will be published at 10:00 GMT.
- Greece: Fourth quarter flash GDP report will be released at 10:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: Fourth quarter flash GDP number will be released at 10:00 GMT, along with December Industrial production and Zew survey for economic sentiment.
- United States: NFIB business optimism index for January will be published at 11:00 GMT, followed by producer price inflation at 13:30 GMT. Chair Yellen is scheduled to testify before Senate Banking Committee at 15:00 GMT. Fed’ Lockhart is scheduled to speak at 18:15 GMT.
- Australia: Westpac consumer confidence for February will be reported at 23:30 GMT.
