A new music and art festival that will be headlined by The Chainsmokers and The Kid LAROI is happening soon in Las Vegas. This is something unique as it was announced that the tickets for the event are NFTs or non-fungible tokens.
The Afterparty NFT Art and Music Festival will be the world's first-ever NFT-gated event. As per EDM.com, the show is complete with digital art gallery activations where the attendees will be immersed in NFTs.
The Afterparty's "Utopian" NFT collection will serve as an all-access pass and give holders tangible rewards that can be had in both the metaverse world and in real-time. Each of the NFT holders will also be able to invite one guest to the festival, and they will own two passes that they can sell or give to friends.
People who would like to buy an Afterparty NFT can either purchase a MintPass at Opensea or buy a Utopian NFT. All attendees of the festival can also enjoy performances from 25 other minor artists and a dozen of world-class non-fungible token artists. All NFT holders can wait for the announcement of the full lineup within the first week of this month.
The music and art festival is set to take place on March 18 and March 19 at AREA 15. It is produced by former Kaaboo executive Chris Racani and former Life is Beautiful managing partner and designer, Ryan Doherty.
The AREA15 is an immersive event and entertainment zone along the Strip in Las Vegas. It was chosen to provide a multi-venue, multisensory experience to all the guests. It was said that the digital art gallery will surely captivate the attendees and guide them through an innovative experiential journey of NFT live performances, art shows, and the metaverse.

The Afterparty Festival is the coming together of the Web3 community that captures innovation and the arts that uplift, inspire and unite us all," Afterparty co-founder and chief executive officer, David Fields, said in a press release.
He added, "Whether you're a crypto titan, performer, creator, or fan, Afterparty is your community to experience the real and authentic merging of human connection, NFT art, and creative expression."
