Coinapult allows Colombians to buy bitcoins from kiosks machines

Panama-based Coinapult, the bitcoin storage provider and payment processor, has announced the launch of its new project that allows individuals in Colombia to buy bitcoin at any one of the 300 Punto Pago Kiosks across the country.

Punto Pago offers a new simple, quick and effective way to top-up mobile phones and also plans to implement payments for internet services, television, and fixed phone bills via its payment kiosks.

According to the official announcement, the prices of bitcoins are displayed in Pesos and a receipt is printed out after the transaction is complete. The bitcoins are directly delivered to the user’s email address. This eases the new users to use the bitcoin network for the first time.

"Anybody can use the machine to buy bitcoin — all you need is an email address and Colombian Pesos," the website stated.

90 percent of all hotels like Hotel Sheraton, Hotel Marriot among others in the Capital City use the kiosks machine as point payment terminal. Apart from hotels, business centers, supermarkets, pharmacies, hospitals, universities restaurants and other public places have been installed with the kiosk machine, the website said (loosely translated).

The Coinapult team has been building bitcoin technology since 2011, providing a secure and easy way to use the bitcoin platform for everyone - from the newcomer to the seasoned bitcoin veteran. The company in 2015, integrated with licensed financial institution, Crypto Capital, in order to bring seamless, bitcoin-friendly banking to our users and business partners.
