BitMine Nears 5% Ethereum Ownership Goal with $15.6B Treasury Expansion

Over the last week, BitMine Immersion Technologies contributed 53,501 ETH to its treasury, therefore increasing its overall holdings to 5,901,112 ETH—about 4.9% of Ethereum's total circulating supply. At a reference price of $2,511 per ETH, the company's core crypto holding is worth about $14.8 billion. Beyond Ethereum, BitMine possesses 211 BTC, $541 million in cash and market-able assets, and strategic equity positions of $180 million in Beast Industries and $81 million in Eightco Holdings (ORBS), hence bringing its total asset portfolio to $15.6 billion.
One of the main pillars of BitMine's plan is actively producing yield via staking. The business now holds 5,067,309 ETH, or around 86% of its whole assets, worth about $12.7 billion. Management predicts that at its present operational capacity, this staking operation would produce between $340 million and $396 million in yearly income at a 7-day annualized staking yield of 2.67%.

This most recent purchase brings BitMine's treasury approach to the 65th straight week of ETH purchases, beginning on June 30, 2025. The company's long-term goal, framed as the "Alchemy of 5%", is to obtain 5% of the entire Ethereum supply now in circulation. BitMine is almost 98% of the way toward its target, with 5.90 million ETH now in reserve; it needs roughly 133,900 to 187,000 extra tokens to completely meet the turning point.
