‘Arrow’ season 5’s episode 19, titled “Dangerous Liaisons,” will follow Felicity as she is forced into doing something illegal for Helix in attempts of finding Adrian Chase. However, this decision will not go down well with Oliver and the rest of Team Arrow.
The synopsis for “Dangerous Liaisons” posted on TV Guide reads, “Oliver (Stephen Amell), Team Arrow, ARGUS and the SCPD kick off a citywide manhunt for Adrian Chase (guest star Josh Segarra). Meanwhile, Helix tells Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) they have a way to find Chase, but they will need something big and illegal from her in return.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow Oliver as he leads a massive manhunt for Oliver Chase, after the protagonist successfully revealed Chase’s real identity as the dreaded Prometheus. According to the recap posted on Mic, Oliver managed to snap out of his downward spiral with John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) help and went on to rejoin Team Arrow. Oliver then moved to stop Bratva and also outed Chase as Prometheus with some solid evidence.
However, Felicity may be facing a crisis of her own due to her ties with Helix. She will be placed in a precarious position when Helix tells her that they have a way of locating Chase’s whereabouts but she has to do something illegal for them in return.
It seems that Felicity’s eventual decision will not sit well with Team Arrow, especially Oliver. In the promo for the upcoming episode, the two are seen arguing. Felicity says, “This is our only chance,” but Oliver replies, “Don’t do this.” It is unclear what Felicity will end up doing for the sake of finding and subduing Chase.
‘Arrow’ season 5’s episode 19, titled “Dangerous Liaisons,” is scheduled to air on The CW on April 26, 2017. It was directed by Joel Novoa and written by Speed Weed and Elizabeth Kim. It will be followed by episode 20, titled "Underneath," directed by Wendey Stanzler and scheduled to be released on May 3.
