The expo provided sparring sessions, professional coaching sessions, networking & skill-building opportunities, certification clinics, new membership packages for 2019, and most importantly, a platform for boxers to display their skills inside the ring in front of their family and friends. The only condition for participants was that they had to produce a proof of registration with the USA Boxing Membership. Here are the key features of the events that happened in six different LBCs.

Gulf

Elichi Jumawan and Robyn Jumawan were the persons in charge of the event as the sanction holder and the official in charge, respectively. The Hawaii event followed the same guidelines as the other LBCs, where there were sparring contests, training clinics, registration desks, passbook repair, concession stands, and food and amenities. The event also witnessed speeches from Government officials, alumni, and members from the media, which added value to the overall atmosphere. The LBC also gave out attendance prizes and trophies to outstanding performers, making it a hugely successful event.

New Jersey

Jacklyn Atkins and Akbar Muhammad were the key personnel in charge of the events at Rotunda gym.

Potomac Valley

Potomac Valley in Washington D.C had a relatively short event planned for the 2018 Boxing Day in America, as their entire schedule started at noon and ended at 4.00 PM. The Rita Bright Recreation Center hosted the event for the first time, which also marked the inauguration of the boxing programs at the Rita Bright Center. Despite being a first-time event for the organizers, many amateur boxers poured in with their close ones to take advantage of the numerous programs on offer, especially under the watchful eyes of Marshall Cunningham Sr., the Sanction Holder; Brentnoll Bovell, the official in charge; and Robert Davison, the ringside physician.

Southeastern

The Southeastern Division of the Boxing Day was held at Fairgrounds Nashville Sports Arena in Nashville, where the event also earned a late start. The sparring sessions started only at 2.00 PM, but the event was noted for its $5 parking fee and $10 admission fee. Nevertheless, it was quite an exciting afternoon for the boxers and their families, as the Southeastern Boxing Association is known to organize pretty eventful boxing tournaments featuring both professional and amateur boxers. The event was pretty straightforward and according to a set schedule, but the sparring sessions were held at the end of the day after lunch. Registrations, weigh-ins, and handing out of awards were all completed by 1.00 PM, which gave ample time for spectators to sit back and enjoy their loved ones sparring in a low-stress environment.
